Ever had a feeling that something wasn't right
and through the rising panic
though you try with all your might
you just can't keep on going
and the shadows have their way.
The pain of losing something dear
falls upon the day
then begins the waiting
till it's dark enough to see.
The candle in the corner
the light of what might be
this waiting hurts in dribs and drabs
in colours plain and strange
it is for you and me a sign
upon the path of change
