I would personally like to welcome you to our Bateman Parish Community. This is a Parish with sixty four nationalities.

Our Parish motto is " A House of Welcome to All and a Place of Service to All" (Christifideles Laici), I hope that this is what you will experience as you become part of our community.

We started as a Parish with our first Mass on 22 June 1986 and so you can see we are still very young.

Despite our youthfulness we have grown very rapidly in numbers of families and have quickly become one of the larger parishes in the Archdiocese. We have over 2000 people regularly attending our weekend Masses. Much more growth undoubtedly will take place but my hope is that it will be especially in the areas of holiness and in love and service of God and neighbour. I hope this will be the case for you and your family and that you will be enriched yourself by your sharing in the life of our parish and that in turn you enrich others with the gift of yourself.
